We do not offer a formal contractual warranty on workmanship or materials.That said, we stand behind our work and take pride in doing things right. If there is a genuine problem that is clearly the result of our workmanship, we believe the right thing to do is to address it and work toward a reasonable solution.Our approach is based on personal accountability, pride in our work, honesty, and mutual respect, not on making promises through a lengthy warranty document.We believe that when you hire someone to work on your home, you should be able to expect them to take responsibility for their work and treat you fairly. That's the standard we hold ourselves to.Please note that workmanship and material failures can have many possible causes, and we cannot assume responsibility for failures resulting from pre-existing conditions, normal wear and tear, misuse, materials supplied by others, or circumstances outside our control.

How do you determine the cost of a project?

We do, too.The reality is that handyman projects don't always cooperate with perfectly predictable pricing. Every property and every project is different. Once work begins, existing construction, hidden damage, previous repairs, material conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances can sometimes change the amount of work required.Depending on the project, we'll provide either an estimate or a proposal that explains the anticipated work and costs as clearly as possible.Our approach is simple: we'd rather be transparent about uncertainty than pretend every handyman job can be priced perfectly in advance. We won't manufacture a precise number simply to make a project look easier to price than it really is. A fixed price is only meaningful when everyone has the same understanding of exactly what is, and is not, included. Vague or incomplete descriptions can lead to disagreements later, even when the price itself was clear.EstimateAn estimate is our detailed projection of what a project is expected to cost. It may include a line-by-line breakdown of anticipated labor hours, labor costs, materials, and other project expenses.Estimates require considerably more time to prepare than a simple proposal, so we may charge a fee for preparing a detailed estimate. We believe hourly billing is often the fairest and most transparent approach for handyman and restoration work because the time required can vary considerably once work begins. What looks like a simple repair may uncover previous damage, unusual construction, or other conditions that couldn't reasonably be known beforehand.We charge for the actual time spent working on your project rather than rushing work to stay within a fixed price. Our priority is doing the job right, not doing it as fast as possible. Hourly billing gives Travis the flexibility to work carefully and safely, address problems as they arise, and spend the time necessary to achieve a quality result without cutting corners.It also gives you greater control over your budget and the work being performed. You can decide which tasks to prioritize and be involved as much or as little as you'd like. If circumstances change or a project is taking longer than expected, you can discuss your options with Travis and decide whether to adjust the scope, prioritize certain work, pause the project, or stop future work.

Do you ask for or require a deposit for large jobs?
